Thermal Break

What is a thermal break?

A thermal break is a continuous barrier that runs between the inside and outside of the aluminium frame. The purpose of a thermal break is to reduce the flow of thermal energy and thus better regulate the temperature within the building.

For example; in the summer months when the building needs to stay cooler, the transfer of warmer heat from the outside is reduced, with an opposite effect present in the colder months, where heat loss is reduced.
